Broxburn are pleased to announce Steve Pittman as new manager, joined with his backroom staff of Stephen Mcilhone and Grant Fairley.
Steve started of with Broxburn Athletic before playing more than 150 league games with East Fife, Shrewsbury Town, Dundee and Partick Thistle. Steve then moved to the USA where he played for Wichita Wings, Fort Lauderdale Strikers and in the MLS with Kansas City Wizards and Tampa Bay Mutiny. He also toured China as a guest player with San Jose Clash in 1996. He earned 3 caps with the USA national team. Steve also managed local rivals Pumpherston Juniors.
18th June
Alan Middleton has left the club to be assistant manager at another club, which has yet to be disclosed. Alan joined the club in 2006 to be assistant manager to the late Jamie Dolan and became manager for this season. Alan took the club to 4th place. The club would like to thank Alan for his efforts and wish him well in his new job.
Broxburn are now looking for a new manager and a replacement could be named shortly. Assistant Steve Pittman has being linked to the position already but the club officials have still to discuss the way forward.
