Broxburn opened the scoring with Stuart Ritchie in the first half, scoring from 6 yards out. The equaliser came for Spartans in the

second half with play down the left wing and Broxburn on the back foot. Douglas was nearly the hero at the end after coming on as sub but his effort was just wide. The Spartans keeper twisted his ankle after going for the ball and Spartans where reduced to 10 men for the remainder of injury time.

Broxburn switched their home tie to Dunbar for this league match with Dunbar. The first half was frustrating for Broxburn after attempts on goals weren't converted. Broxburn had a strong penalty claim turned down by the referee in the first half after a foul in the box.

The second half seen Geddes score around the hour mark, though Jeffrey's deserves credit for the goal too. However Jeffrey did get on the scoresheet after Geddes worked down the right wing and crossedn for Jeffrey to head home on the 6-yard box. A simple but effective Broxburn attack.

(Evening News) ALAN DICKOV opened the scoring in the seventh minute after good work from Young. Dickov got his second after Pearson knocked the ball back for him to slot home five minutes before the break. Chris Geddes added to the scoring in 51 minutes. Ten minutes later, Billy Dunlop scored from the spot to give the hosts a lifeline but Kenny Hannah put the score beyond doubt with six minutes left and Ian Douglas rounded off the scoring with a double in the last five minutes to make the scoreline emphatic.

(Evening News) BROXBURN scored on 37 minutes after Haddington conceded possession and Ian Douglas netted following good composure in the home penalty area. Chic Pearson sent a penalty over the bar with an hour gone but redeemed himself with Broxburn's second goal 12 minutes from time when Craig Young teed him up. An injury-time penalty from Michael Motion proved scant consolation for Haddington.

John Wilson scored early in the first half with a header that left the Livingston keeper no-chance. Broxburn's lead didn't last long. Livingston equalised through Caldwell after sustaining pressure on the Broxburn goal, the goal came from a corner which was headed in the 6 yard box. Livingston scored a second from Santi before half-time.

Broxburn put Livingston under pressure straight from kick-off in the second half, but soon fizzled out and found it difficult to create chances. 5 minutes from the end Livingston scored on the counter attack with Millar and Broxburn replied with a Jeffreys goal. The final scoreline didn't flatter the visitors who will be pleased with their first win of the season.

JJ scored Broxburn's first goal in the 16th minute when a poor clearance hit JJ in a sensitive area, but he was composed enough to hit his shot on target. Harthill pulled 1 back with a excellent free-kick on the half-hour mark. 2 minutes from the end of the first half, Hannay was one-on-one with the goalkeeper and was brought down in the box after he knocked the ball past the keeper to run onto. The keeper was sent off and Hannay scored from the spot.

The second half saw Harthill reduced to 9 men with a Harthill player received a second yellow card for fouling. Later Malley was sent off for kicking out at a opponent in an off the ball incident. Harthill where then later reduced to 8 men after a second yellow card was produced for a bad challenge on Hannay. Broxburn with 2 extra men on the park failed to see off the Harthill challenge. At the end of the second half, Broxburn broke up the field but Pearson was caught in possession. Harthill sent a through ball and the Broxburn keeper brought down his opponent. Broxburn's keeper was sent-off and Harthill scored a dramatic equaliser at the end.

Crawford opened the scoring in the first half for Sauchie and Craig Young equalised before the end of the first half. Broxburn increased their lead to 2 but 2 late goals from the visitors earned Sauchie a share of the spoils.
